We are linking our art to reading. At the moment we are enjoying Holes, Boy Overboard, Fantastic Mr Fox and Hatchet. After we have finished reading a chapter or two, Mr Bailey gives us some activities to do based around language, comprehension, reflecting and, our favourite, illustrating. The illustrating explores our ability to create and visualize from the vocabulary and imagery of the book. Mr Bailey has never given out so many credits before so the work must have been good, we were totally inspired! |
This was a very fun session especially how we don't usually get to do art in class. It was also a great opportunity for us to earn credits as we got few credits every time we went up to show Mr Bailey. - Gaea
