The transition from Year 6 to Year 7 has made mathematics a lot more challenging. Our strand topic this term is measurement and we are currently looking at time which includes reading digital and analogue clocks, stopwatches, timetables and charts. It has been very challenging because many of the activities combine everything together, more to follow on that! The children gained much delight from the fact that Mr Bailey could not find an efficient strategy to answer a question! :)
Yes, Maths is definitely more challenging in year 7. Some of it is fun, but most of it is really hard. Get prepared for year 7 you youngies!
